Whether you’re counting down the days until you meet your little one, or you’re already in that newborn bubble, it’s never too early (or too late) to book your session.

Those first weeks fly by in a blur of feeds, cuddles, and tiny baby yawns, and before you know it, they’re not so tiny anymore. As a mum of two, I know just how quickly those early days become memories, and how much you’ll wish you could press pause.

That’s exactly what I’m here for — to capture those once-in-a-lifetime moments so you can look back and remember exactly how small they were, how they fit perfectly in your arms, and how it felt in those first days.

All newborn sessions take place in my cosy home studio here in the heart of Scotland, where I offer two gorgeous styles of sessions to suit you and your baby perfectly.

Props & Posed

For those dreamy, styled images where every blanket, wrap, and little hat is perfectly chosen to suit your baby. I carefully pose your newborn in beautiful props and set-ups, creating classic, art-like images you’ll want to display forever. Perfect if you’re looking for a more polished, styled gallery.

Natural Newborn Session

Think natural, relaxed, and full of real connection. These sessions capture your baby just as they are — in your arms, snuggled up, tiny fingers wrapped around yours. I focus on the love, the cuddles, and those little details you’ll never want to forget. Perfect if you want your images to feel timeless and authentic.

Please note that a £50 non refundable session fee is required to secure your booking and the balance is due on the day of your photoshoot. Extra files can be purchased at £15 each or you can upgrade your package. You will also receive both colour and black and white versions

When Is best to book?

The ideal time for newborn photos is when your baby is between 5 and 14 days old. At this stage, they’re still very sleepy and love to curl up in those beautiful, womb-like poses we all adore.

That said — life with a newborn can be unpredictable, so if your little one has already arrived, don’t panic! I’ll always do my best to fit you in.

To make sure you secure your spot, I recommend booking while you’re still pregnant — usually after your 20-week scan. I’ll pencil in your due date, and once baby makes their arrival, we’ll confirm your exact session date.

How long does the session take?

Newborn sessions usually take up to 4 hours, depending on the style you choose (Lifestyle or Prop & Posed) and how your little one is on the day.

I work completely at your baby’s pace — there’s plenty of time for feeds, nappy changes, and cuddles in between. This way, the whole experience stays calm, relaxed, and enjoyable for everyone (including you!).

The goal is never to rush, but to create a beautiful, stress-free session that captures your baby at their best.

Can I bring Siblings?

Of course you can! My Sessions include family & sibling Images. However the studio is small and will be very hot to keep baby warm so i do ask that once the family/sibling photographs have been taken that the children are collected from a relative where possible.

What happens if my baby doesn't settle on the day?

This definitely is every parents first worry but honestly it shouldn't be! I have worked with lots and lots of babies, I am professionally trained and know little tips that help to soothe babies. Never have I not delivered a gallery.

Do you provide outfits for the baby?

Of course my Sessions include use of all wraps/ outfits. you are welcome to bring along any of your own or any keepsakes you may want to have incorporated into the session.

Do i need to pay a deposit?

A £50 non-refundable Session Fee is required to secure your due date in my diary. This will be deducted from your final balance.

I have made a booking, what happens next?

you will receive an email confirmation with my Newborn prep guide with everything you need to know about the session. From what to bring to what to wear. Once baby's arrived please notify me and we will agree on a date, preferably withing the first 5-15days.

When is the remaining payment due?

Your balance is due on the day of your session. You will be able to upgrade your gallery package after you have viewed your Images if you wish.

What happens next after i have attended my session?

within 2-3 weeks you will receive an email to your private online gallery. You will then be able to select your images. Your gallery will be live for a whole month so there's no rush. After 1 month, there will be a fee of £10 per week to re open your gallery.
